Using the picker
Type your question if you like (it stays on this page and is never sent anywhere), then press Ask. With Yes or no each answer has exactly a 50% chance; add maybe and each of the three gets one chance in three. The answer comes from crypto.getRandomValues, your browser's cryptographic random generator.
For choices that feel too big for a single answer, pick Best of 3, 5 or 7. The picker keeps asking until yes or no has a majority, the way a match ends once someone has won enough games, and shows every vote. The overall odds stay 50/50; it simply takes longer to settle.
A random answer works best when both options are fine: which film to watch, who goes first, whether to try the new café. If the answer leaves you a little disappointed, that feeling is useful too, because it shows which way you were leaning.
Questions
Is the answer really random?
Yes. Every answer comes from your browser's cryptographic random generator, with equal odds for each option you allow.
Why can't I use maybe with best of 3?
A best-of series needs a winner, and maybe votes could leave it undecided, so rounds work with yes and no only.
Should I make big decisions with it?
No. Use it for small, low-stakes choices. For anything about health, money or safety, talk it over with someone you trust.
